On August 3rd, my godparents Vince and Niki got married! We flew into
Seattle for the wedding, unfortunately missing the rehearsal but making it in
time for the
rehearsal dinner. The next day was the wedding. I wore a cute white
dress loaned to me by one of my friends from playgroup. I liked
the wedding and didn't even make too many squeaks and clicks during the
ceremony. The reception was nice too, but the music was very loud and I
was
ready for my nap so Dad had to walk me around outside.

The
day after the wedding we visited Seattle where there were lots of pigs on
display. I got my picture taken with a few of them.
Then we went to Vancouver for a few days. Vancouver was very
nice. We stayed at the Westin Bayshore, which had some amenities I really
appreciated. 1) Elevators, which I love. We were staying on
the 13th floor so I got to take quite a few rides. 2) A pool.
I love to swim. I don't even mind it when Mom or Dad is lame and dunks my
face. 3) A high chair in my room so that I could eat whenever I
wanted. 4) A "kid pack" of toiletries complete with a toy
for me! 5) Room service. Okay, this was more for Mom and Dad than
me.
In Vancouver we walked all around Stanley Park and went to the aquarium
there. I
LOVED the aquarium. I liked to talk to all of the fish and I would cry
whenever
Mom took me away, until I got to the next display. I also really liked the
butterfly exhibit, and Mom liked that they had a sloth that she could see up
close. We had lunch at the Fish House, one of Vancouver's best
restaurants and I was good! The next day we went all around the shopping
district in Vancouver. I didn't get anything new, though. And then
it was time to go home. A nice little vacation! |
